My partner Katie and I love using Mason jars. The jars? Perfect. The lids? A nightmare. We tossed them in a drawer, where they’d tangle, trap water, and turn into a post-dishwasher mess.
Since the lid pieces are magnetic, I prototyped a better way. Using high-pull neodymium magnets and sturdy PET-G plastic, I 3D printed a rack that could mount under shelves and hold the lids exactly where we wanted them. It worked so well in our kitchen, I started making them for others. Now it’s a staple in our home—and I hope in yours too.
